Rose Hill Studios

Rose Hill Studios began as a portrait studio over thirty years ago.

Once upon a time, a little girl from the mountains of western Maryland wanted to be an artist. Every Christmas and birthday she asked for art supplies; crayons and water colors, pastels and drawing pencils and sketchbooks. But time went on and she actually became a portrait photographer. She moved to south Texas, got married and had a family and built a studio out in the country. She gardened and made family portraits in the wild flowers and grew older. And after 34 years of photographing life, she retired.
Now, after retiring from the camera, she has found a love of brush and canvas. In a small aprtment she fills white space with landscapes, seascapes and horses. Are they good? Only you and God can answer that.
I hope these paintings bring you joy.
